I engage in a comfortable dialogue with students so they not only learn for understanding, but they learn to love whatever subject I am teaching, be it Latin, French, Spanish, or English!
Simply stated, I make learning come alive!
For example, in teaching Roman culture and history I make the past meaningful by comparing and contrasting it to the present (e.g. are we Rome?)
